Hi all, it’s Ellie here. I’ve just moved into my new apartment and my Dad cut off my personal support workers from coming in to visit me.
For anyone who doesn’t know the story, my homophobic dad tried to place me into conversion therapy. I was deemed mentally incompetent by the courts, so he is my guardian. He’s abusing his power over me.
I got in touch with a member of provincial parliament and they have found me a long term care home I can live in (an old age home). To give you an idea as to how bad my situation is, I have been sitting in a wet and dirty brief for two days because my Dad cut off my personal care workers from coming in. I need to move.
I just escaped an abusive situation and certainly don’t want to go back to that. To get a moving truck to move my stuff, it’s going to be $1,500 (it’s 2.5 hours away). To get myself there, it will be $100. I will also require a bit of extra money for my medication. I have early onset Parkinson’s and I’m $500 short for my pills.

This is an extended franchise and this film has quite literally had over a decade worth of buildup. If you waited 10 years for something and someone walked up to you and ruined it just for the satisfaction of being an asshole for no reason, I doubt you’d have a civil reaction to it either.
